Heroquill (“the app”) is a free, unofficial tool to make, print and play characters for the fifth edition of the world's most popular roleplaying game. It is written and kept by the GitHub user Mystikal91. This page says what happens to your data.
The app has no server, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. Your characters stay in your browser, on your device. We do not receive, collect, store or sell any of your data.
Your characters, the content packs you add, your quick edits, your settings and (if you choose to type one) your DeepL key are stored in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB and localStorage). They never leave your device unless you decide to move them, as described below. Clearing the site data of your browser deletes them.

The app asks for a single Google permission, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file.
It lets the app see and change only the files that the app itself created in your Drive. The
app cannot list, open or change any other file of your Drive, and it does not read your name,
email address or any other account data.
The app's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The app does not use cookies for tracking and has no analytics. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, may keep ordinary server logs under Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you use Google sign-in, Google's own cookies and policies apply to that window.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, children included.

Personaggi, pacchetti di contenuti, modifiche rapide, impostazioni e (se la scrivi) la tua chiave DeepL stanno nella memoria del browser. Non escono dal dispositivo se non quando decidi tu di spostarli. Cancellando i dati del sito dal browser, spariscono.

L'app chiede un solo permesso, drive.file: può vedere e modificare soltanto i
file creati dall'app stessa. Non può elencare né aprire altri file del tuo Drive e non
legge nome, email o altri dati dell'account. Il file contiene ciò che hai scelto di
trasferire (personaggi, impostazioni, ecc.) ed è usato solo per spostare i tuoi dati su un
altro dispositivo. Va direttamente tra il tuo browser e Google, senza passare da noi; il
token di accesso resta solo nella memoria della pagina aperta. Non condividiamo, trasferiamo
né vendiamo dati di Google. Puoi cancellare il file dal Drive e revocare l'accesso in
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
L'uso e il trasferimento ad altre app delle informazioni ricevute dalle API di Google rispetterà la Google API Services User Data Policy, compresi i requisiti di Uso limitato.
L'app non usa cookie di tracciamento né statistiche. Il sito è ospitato su Cloudflare, che può tenere i normali registri del server secondo la propria informativa. Con l'accesso Google valgono le regole di Google per quella finestra.
